“Becky” Mullenaux is a Certified Nursing Assistant here at Heritage Hall-Tazewell. She also pulls shifts working in other departments. She helps the business office do their filing, the admissions office with paperwork, and medical records with patient charts. She has become a Jack of all trades around the facility and we appreciate her more than she will ever know! She always has the best attitude and is more than willing to jump in and help with anything, even if she doesn’t know how to do something she is a fast learner and eager to learn as well.

How long have you worked for Heritage Hall? Almost 12 Years
What’s your work day like at Heritage Hall? “It varies. It depends on where I am working. If it’s on the floor then I am doing patient care but sometimes I help other departments with charts, files, orders, etc. I also help out in the admissions department every now and then!”
Did you go to college? What is your degree? “I have several certifications. Certified Nursing Assistant, Child Day Care, Certified Medical Assistant, and cosmetologist.”
Tell us about your family: “I have my husband, Jerry. My three children Allie Sawyers who is the manager at Smart Styles in Claypool Hill, Wesley Sawyers who is a student at THS, and Isabella Mullenaux who is a student at North Tazewell Elementary School.”
What do you like most about working at Heritage Hall? “My job is so different now. I do a lot of different types of work other than my normal CNA work. I enjoy the different settings and I get to help my patients and fellow employees with their work.”
If you could sit down with a famous person, who would it be and why? “’Famous’ could mean something different to everyone. I would call my parents ‘famous’ to me. The most giving, kind, warm-hearted people I will ever know. I would love to be able to say ‘I love you and thank you for everything’ just one more time to them and to see them smile again.”
What’s your favorite TV show? “Fixer Upper-I love seeing something most people would consider a “lost cause” turned into a jewel!
What’s one thing most folks don’t know about you? “I have always wanted to sing! I love to write poetry and draw sketches and I love to play the piano.”
